How much does shipping cost internationally?

You are viewing an Unlisted article which can only be accessed by people with the direct link.

Important note: Subscription kits ship independently of all other products, and may not be ordered together with other products.  If you with to become a subscriber and purchase some sticker sheets, you must do so in separate transactions, and shipping rules will be applied to each transaction independently of one another.

Processing times: Every effort is made to pick, pack and dispatch your orders as quickly as possible.  Subscription kits ship between the 15th & 18th of each month.  All other products will be picked and shipped within 7 business days of placing your order.  You will receive a notification from us via e-mail when your items are shipped.

Address changes: We cannot change addresses once an order has shipped.  For subscriptions, please ensure your address details are updated by the 1st of the month.

Lost or misdirected parcels: Generally speaking parcels sent with tracked services do not go missing.  Thanks to Covid-19 related delays, they may be slower than previously but, again, generally they do arrive.  If you feel your parcel is taking an unduly lengthy amount of time, please in the first instance enquire with your local postal service using the tracking number provided.  They are likely to have the best solution for you.

In the unlikely event that your shipment has gone missing, and it is due to an error on our behalf, we will replace your items.  If the error is on your behalf (for example, not collecting your parcel in time from your local postal agency, entering an incorrect address or other), we will not be liable for replacement.
General shipping rules:
Australia
Orders under AUD$150

For all orders under AUD$150,you will be issued a tracking number, which you can use to follow the progress of your parcel via the Australia Post tracking website.  Should the package go missing, we will be able to launch an investigation after 31 business days.

Current shipping rates are high, and this is reflective of the "new normal" in global shipping thanks to Covid-19.

The rates displayed in checkout are our current rates.

Orders over AUD$150

All orders over AUD$150 receive free tracked shipping, via Australia Post as detailed above.

Nominated countries
(Including USA, Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Canada and 63 others - see below for details)

Orders under AUD$150

For all orders under AUD$150, you will be able to choose from tracked or untracked shipping.  The carriers we use are usually aligned with your local postal agency as the final mile carrier, but for operational & cost reasons, this may change periodically, and without notice. Shipping times are difficult to determine in these covid-19 and supply chain crisis times, but generally all parcels should be delivered within 31 working days of shipment.

Should an item go missing, we will be able to help but usually your local postal agency will be able to help out more quickly & accurately - we're only asking them the same questions you'd be asking us. I don't have a crystal ball here ;)

Orders under AUD$150

For all orders under AUD$150, you will be able to choose from tracked or untracked shipping.  We use DHL Global Mail, who in turn transfer your parcels to your local mail service upon arrival into your country.  For example, in the USA after the parcel arrives in the USA, USPS takes over the delivery.

Delivery times vary by country, but generally all parcels should be delivered within 21 working days of shipment.

If you choose an untracked shipping option, be aware that there is no insurance or ability to track the parcels after they leave our facility.  As such, if an untracked parcel does not arrive we cannot offer any assistance.

If you choose a tracked option, you will be provided a tracking number, and in most cases the same number can be used on the DHL Global Mail tracker and your domestic mail carriers tracking site.  Should a package go missing, we are able to launch an investigation with DHL after 23 business days.

Orders over AUD$150
All orders over AUD$150 are charged a flat rate.

****Please note we do not ship to the following countries:  Afghanistan, Crimea, Iran, North Korea, Sudan (North) and Yemen.

Other general shipping notes:

Plain English shipping policy - we'll leave legal speak for the experts, and present our honest, no nonsense approach to shipping here!

Stationery products are, for the most part, relatively heavy, and in this post-covid, post-supply chain crisis of '21/'22 that we're living in, heavy = expensive.

We have chosen to ship out of Hong Kong (rather than Australia) because it helps us to minimise our overall shipping costs (though that's relative), given that most of our customers are located outside of Australia.

That said, prices of shipping, particularly relatively heavy items, is still expensive. As such, we've had to change our shipping policy to now only ship orders over AUD$150 free, to select countries. If you're eligible for this, then that's a rate you'll see. Australia, Canada, the USA and most parts of Europe are included in this list - which accounts for most of our regular customers.

Shipping times are best treated as guidelines. There are many complexities that our partners deal with to get product to you in the most cost effective way, and there are sometimes unexpected delays thanks to our shipments being bumped from flights & so on. We're working with a large third party logistics company who give us great assistance, but they're still beholden to the whims of airlines. Maybe one day we'll have PA -Airlines and be able to ferry stickers around the world first class ;)

In the unlikely event that your package looks lost (say, it's not showing on tracking after around 30 business days), please start asking about it via the customer service widget on the website. Bear in mind, however, that we are not shipping huge volumes and do not have some sort of sway with the large companies shipping for us. While we can lodge an enquiry it's usually quicker if you do so direct with the shipping company for your delivery. In most cases, the final mile carrier is your local postal agency (eg Aus Post in Australia, USPS in the USA & so on); and the tracking number we issue will work with their system. I'd encourage you to lodge enquiries with them in the first instance.

Finally, if the worst happens and your goodies do not arrive, or arrive damaged, please let us know. Take photos of the packaging, the items themselves and any other evidence that will help us lodge a claim.

Special notes for customers in the UK!

We know, we know - those shipping rates are high. We're not large enough to pay the accountants fees for your VAT (we'd pay more in accounting fees than the dollar value of orders we sell to the UK per year); but we are also charged VAT by our shipping company on every order that is sent. So, we've used the shipping number to ensure that we're collecting the VAT for your order. Is it ideal? No - but it's the best we can do for now.

Final word on shipping.

Yes, it's expensive. No, we're not making money on it (in fact, in most cases we're under charging what we're charged for shipping to you), and the rates will be dynamic & frequently changing for the foreseeable future. Thanks for your understanding!
